Step back in time at the Ballenberg Swiss Open-Air Museum, where over 100 historic buildings from all regions of Switzerland have been rebuilt to preserve traditional rural life. After hotel pick-up in the Interlaken area (within 10 km), enjoy a private drive through picturesque valleys before arriving at the museum, set on a vast alpine meadow near Brienz.
You will experience and see how people lived, worked, and built homes over centuries. Visit old-style bakeries, barns, and artisan workshops. Watch live demonstrations such as cheese-making, wood carving, or weaving—depending on the day.
